When I settled in Seoul in 2013 after 15 years in Boston, I wanted to do something different than egg tempera paintings. I noticed the thick Korean magazines used quality paper and printing. I started tearing pages and glueing them on wood panels. These old magazines are born again as my new art work and I love the effect. I don't have to use any chemicals, turpentine or brushes, but just paper and glue. Art making can not be more basic, just paper and glue.
